Cognigy became the first AI vendor to pass the AI Cloud Service Compliance Criteria Catalogue (AIC4) audit for trustworthy AI conducted by PwC. The catalogue, published by the German Federal Office for Information Security (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik – BSI), provides AI-specific criteria that set a baseline level of security, which is reliably assessed by an independent auditor. The BSI AIC4 is developed for AI services based on standard machine learning methods and iteratively improve their performance by utilizing training data. We applied the AIC4 audit criteria to our Conversational AI offering, Cognigy.AI, along with the seven main trust service criteria.
To support our customer’s HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance efforts in their organizations, we evaluate our products and product environments for HIPAA trust service criteria such as encryption of data, restriction of physical access to production servers, configurable administrative controls, monitor and access rights, and much more.
