Gone are the days of disjointed workflows and feedback loops lost through screenshots, video calls, and external notes.  Collaborative Editing turns Cognigy.AI into a dynamic, multi-user co-creation workspace where ideas are shared, changes are aligned, and progress happens in real time.

Empowering Teams to Build and Ship AI Agents Together - Faster

Building AI Agents is rarely a solo effort. The more sophisticated they become, the more hands it takes to build them right. Conversation designers, developers, QA testers, service agents, and subject matter experts – everyone needs to stay on the same page.

Until now, this collaboration has mainly relied on a mix of offline coordination and back-and-forth exchange on external channels – Slack messages, email threads, and calls. As AI Agents grow in complexity, so do the teamwork challenges:

  • Unclear ownership of tasks and edits
  • Feedback scattered across platforms
  • Accidental overwrites or missed updates
  • Slower reviews and publishing cycles

That changes today. With Collaborative Editing, teams now have a centralized, living space inside Cognigy.AI to coordinate work and share input. Think of it like Miro for AI Agents: multi-disciplinary contributors can seamlessly work on the same AI Agent project, in real time or asynchronously, with visual cues and structured feedback.

Live Cursors: Enhance Transparency and Streamline Workflows

You can now see exactly who else is present in the Flow Editor and what areas they are focusing on to optimize workstreams and resource allocation. Each collaborator is represented by a live cursor and a name tag, helping distributed teams stay informed and avoid unnecessary overlap.

Discussion Threads: Capture Feedback Where It Matters

From proposing a change to asking a question or flagging an issue, you can start contextual discussions directly on any Node within the Flow. By creating comment threads and using @-mentions, you can assign feedback or request input from specific individuals.

Mentioned users receive email notifications that take them directly to the relevant part of the Flow, ensuring timely and precise collaboration.

Simultaneous Editing: Prevent Conflicts and Stay Synchronized

When a user begins editing a Node, their icon appears on it to indicate activity. The Node is locked temporarily to prevent others from making conflicting changes. Once updates are finalized, a refresh prompt notifies other collaborators to update their view and stay current with the latest version.

The Impact: Higher Velocity and Better Team Synergy

By embedding collaboration directly into the Cognigy.AI interface, teams no longer need to switch contexts to discuss logic or review implementations. Feedback happens in the same space where changes are made, enabling:

  • Shorter feedback loops: Cut down the time between drafting, reviewing, and updating Flows.
  • Clear task ownership: With @-mentions and Node-specific threads, it’s always clear who’s accountable.
  • Greater transparency: Understand what your teammates are working on at a glance.
  • Fewer errors: Reduce miscommunication and avoid overwriting each other’s work.

Whether you pair-design flows live or review them asynchronously, Collaborative Editing adapts to how your team works best.
