The 2025.12 release introduces two exciting new features: Collaborative Editing for AI Agent and Flow design to expedite team synergy, alongside the Business Dashboard to provide real-time insights into global traffic and ROI of your AI Agents.

Build and Ship Agents Together Faster with Collaborative Editing

The new Collaborative Editing feature allows multiple users to work on the same Flow simultaneously within Cognigy.AI. This real-time collaboration is facilitated through visible user avatars and live updates in the Flow and Node editors.

Key functionalities include:

  • User Presence Indicators: Avatars and live cursors display which users are currently active in the Flow and whether they are editing specific Nodes
  • Simultaneous Editing: Node lock avoids the risk of overwriting work and updates are immediately visible through Refresh prompts.
  • Contextual Feedback: You can initiate discussions on Nodes, mention team members using '@', and receive email notifications for mentions.

This feature enhances team efficiency by streamlining communication and reducing the need for external coordination tools.

Track Global Traffic and Business Outcomes in Real-Time

The Business Dashboard, now available within Cognigy Insights, offers a centralized, real-time view of global active sessions through interactive charts and tables. It provides insights into:

  • Location-Based Activity: An interactive globe displays session distribution by city or country.
  • Containment Effectiveness: Bar charts differentiate between sessions handled by AI agents and those escalated to human agents.
  • Business Outcomes: Integrated Goals metrics track time saved, cost savings, and revenue earned from completed goals.

The dashboard updates every 30 seconds and reflects data from the last 15 minutes, ensuring timely and relevant information for decision-making.

Improved Accessibility in Webchat

This release additionally adds support for the speak property in Adaptive Cards, enabling developers to include a spoken summary of the card content. This small addition has a big impact: users relying on screen readers can now hear concise summaries of card data, improving both accessibility and engagement.

Other Improvements

Cognigy.AI

  • Set a maximum limit of 1 year for Analytics Data Expiration, Insights Session Data Expiration, and Steps Data Expiration in the Management UI
  • Added support for a custom authentication header name field to the OpenAI-compatible LLM provider settings
  • Improved the stability of the service-handover database connection to MongoDB and added caching for handover data while sending messages to handover providers. This change enhances the speed and reliability of the handover process
  • Updated the Amazon EventBridge integration with the Genesys Open Messaging handover provider to prevent conversations from ending during queue transfers. If you integrate with Genesys Open Messaging via EventBridge, update your configuration to use the new v2.detail.events.conversation.{id}.customer.end topic. Previously, you could end conversations using WebSocket events or Trigger-based methods. These methods have been removed and are no longer supported

Cognigy Voice Gateway

  • Added support for the Barge In feature to AI Agent Nodes. Now, when a Set Session Config Node precedes an AI Agent Node, the Barge In settings from the Set Session Config Node are applied to the AI Agent Node
  • Improved feature-server by adding the entire say verb content to the summary on the Tracing tab in Recent Calls within the Voice Gateway Self-Service Portal
